Dear Moderator and Members of the United Church of Canada
Frank Dimant of B’nai Brith has sent out a call asking people to write emails to the United Church demanding withdrawal of the recommendations of the Working Group Report on Palestine. In his message he calls the illegal settlement, condemned internationally as the single greatest impediment to peace and justice as ”Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.” Is this what the settlements are? Is the occupied West Bank now Judea and Samaria, just another part of Israel? Do you accept this outrageous claim? I think not.
